I just received my new iMac and learned that my Microsoft Office Suite will no longer work on the new machine. Can anyone suggest a software program that I can download, for free or very cheap, that will open Word, PowerPoint. Excel,etc.

Apple's iWork - Pages/Numbers/Keynote (downloadable fro the Mac App Store) are a cheaper alternative to Office. They will open and save files in Office format but they are not as fully-featured as Microsoft's offering.

There are many, however the easiest thing to do is buy Office for Mac 2011 and get on with it. You can download it form Microsoft's web site or your can buy a license from places like Amazon, Best Buy etc...
