Airport Extreme (4th gen): worth trying to repair?

Good evening.

My Airport Extreme (4th gen - A1354) apparently has a fried WAN port (surge through power line?).

The ethernet line has always been protected.

Is it worth trying to repair? If so, who-where? Or are these throwaway devices?

PS: I have recently added a much better surge protector on power line.
