i checked that out but it seemed a lil tricky for me. i ended up getting perian and it seems to work as far as playing the .mkv file on my mac but i still need find something to convert it for my flash drive so i dont have to connect my mac to a tv in order to watch a movie.
i guess i should just buy a connection for my mac so i can plug it into the tv. do you know what would be a good connection to use?

Jan 16, 2013 5:13 AM in response to romko23by Marsh247,Handbrake is the best start. But Handbrake definitely needs a refresh to better support mkv. Mkvtools is what I usually use.

And, I wouldn't trust an app that includes software which will allow downloads from Youtube which specifically violates their terms of use.
