Can an airport express act as a backup for my macbook Pro?
If I turn on time capsule on my computer, will it detect the airport express?

You can't use an AirPort Express for Time Machine purposes. You may only use an internal hard disk, a partition on an internal hard disk, a disk drive connected directly to your computer, or a Time Capsule.
