Q: Hi! I am just a beginner using Mac. Q: I have installed Firefox 14 but after Restart Icon is no longer displayed in Dock. What can i Do?

Hello:

Go to the application folder and drag the Firefox icon to the dock.  Icons in the dock are pointers - not the actual program.  When you installed it, the icon you saw was probably the one that appears when a program is open.

In addition to Barry's solution, any application that you launch will appear in the Dock. If you would like the application to always appear there, even when not launched, click and hold the icon, and from the pop up menu select Options>Keep in Dock.
