I'm on 10.8.1 Mountain Lion: I just noticed that I can not find the SAVE AS DRAFT button on email. I was so used to using it that I can't say exactlyl where it was, but now I can not find it. Also can't find it when I switch mail to "classic mode." Where is the SAVE AS DRAFT?

I was able to answer this myself. By just "saving" the email it throws it into a draft status. That works. I just thought there used to be a "save as draft" button......

This confused me as well. I rarely save drafts, but wanted to for a specific circumstance. Just doing "Save", with seemingly nothing happening, goes against years of ingrained UI entrainment.
