There is a clicking noise on the top right of the keyboard area that occurs randomly what is it?

I just purchased the MacBook Pro 13" yesterday and the noise happens every 15 minutes or so.

Thanks

If it is the motion sensor causing it then its normal, sometimes if i press the keys a bit quick or to hard it will do it.

Try turning the motion sensor off for a bit and see if the noise stops.

To turn off go to the terminal and type sudo pmset -a sms 0

To turn back on use the same command but change the 0 for a 1

Then try it for a bit and see if the click has stopped. If it has you know it is the motion sensor parking the HDD because its detected movement,

Let me know how you get on.
