Mail icon disappeared on iphone

You or someone else probably moved it somehwere else. Maybe it's in a folder or on another page on your homescreen. Mail is a default app, meaning it cannot be deleted. Swipe all the way to the left on your homescreen until you get to the search page and type in "mail."

You can rearrange icons on the homescreen.

I know how to arrange icons on the big screen. The mail icon at the bottom is the one missing. It does not show other places, so it cannot be moved. Any ideas?
