The new adobe flash update works in Firefox but not in Safari....anyone else experience this problem?
Thought I had lost some important video.....turned out, just couldn't open it in Safari.
iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.4)
Try going to Adobe's website and use their uninstaller for FlashPlayer. Then go back, download and reinstall.
Worked in Safari once. Now being told I have to install flash. Flash works with Firefox...what's gives?

The most recent plugin version is 11.4.402.265. Is that what you have installed? Look in System preferences > Preference pane. Click on FlashPlayer then the advanced button.
Yup. Says it's installed. Just doesn't work on Safari...Weird!
