Anyone else having this problem or know a fix? Almost every time I send an iMessage my Iphone 4 will hang/freeze for almost 30 seconds before I can do anything else. If I send a regular txt it's fine. Anyone know of a fix for this? It's becoming very annoying

I'm suffering the same thing. Seems to happen during the day (as opposed to the night). This was happening before and I read somewhere it was traced to the use of the Mac OX Messages beta app that Apple released before Mountain Lion. I uninstalled that beta and things seemed to get better. Now I'm running ML on my Mac and this issue is back. Is there an issue with the Mac app logged into iMessage and the iPhone too?
Very curious whether this has a fix somewhere.

I have the same issue. Everytime I send an iMessage everything freezes for a little bit. I thought maybe it was because I have so many messages but after removing a lot I still have the issue. Has anyone found a fix? Thanks
