Q: ITunes????

hi, I have had my New IPad 3, for about 6 months. ITunes has been installed on set up. But when I go into it, there Is only podcast, iTunes U ( that just takes me to an app), and download( which only has terms and conditions) and takes me no further. I can't for the life of me figure out how to go further in iTunes. it does not ask me to log in, and I have Internet acess. it must be something simple that I am missing. Also,, I would like to put photos and video from the iPad to my PC. Do I have to download ITunes on my PC to do this? I have been trying to google everything with no results. I am not very computer savvy, sorry.

    Certain countries have no access to songs, movies and books from iTune Store

    Yes, if you want to transfer pictures from your iPad to your computer, you must donwload iTunes on your computer.  iTunes on your iPad is really where you go to purchase Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts and Audiobooks.  You don't play or view anythig from iTunes.

    You live in a country where the only conent that is available is podcasts and iTunes U content. There is no way for you to purchase movies, TV shops, music etc.

     

    iTunes on the iPad is a store  - not a media player, you can log into your iTunes account in the app itself, in the lower left corner of the main page - or in Settings>Store>Sign in.

    iTunes is not needed for this. You have to import the photos and videos to the PC like you would if it were a digital camera.

    I live in Austraila, but when set up my iPad, it came up in a different language, so I went in and changed that. I accidentally put in the wrong country.  maybe ITunes is from the original setup. Do I have to reinstall ITunes?

    Change your country in settings.

    Region format says Australia, is there anywhere else, I can't find it in settings. I think ITunes was set up with the wrong country. Do I need to reinstall it or will it swap over when I change countries. Thankyou so much for your help.
