HP Photosmart C4795 will not connect to airport extreme

My problem is similar but I am running 10.8.1. My HP Photosmart will not connect to my WLAN Airport Extreme network even though a config printout from the HP notes that is sees the network. The HP Setup Assistant indicates that the printer is not connected via USB but in fact, the printer is connected USB.

Airport Extreme-OTHER, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8), HP LaserJet connects to WLAN OK
