Sep 19, 2012 1:06 PM in response to SuperSeventySevenby Erics1019,i just updated to 10.8.2 and it did not help me out at all! still haveing an issue now a different one though i get an error when i try to save to my xsan error says unexpected end-of-file- was encountered thats what i get now!

You can load and save if you use ethernet network connection. I moved to windows box for photoshop (I keep deleting files on Mac)

Hi,
This thing is dragging too long... I can not use Photoshop to save files.
I know that you can always say: it's adobe's problem... guess what Adobe say's!
This needs to be sorted out, so please call someone at Adobe and sort this out!

Oct 15, 2012 10:26 AM in response to borqueeby Christopher Collins,Apple and Adobe have known about this since version 1 of Xsan released in 2005, 7 years ago. Sorry man, but they are not going to fix it. I used to do deployments of Xsan professionaly and Adobe engineers told me directly, that its never going to be a priority as they don't want to re-write fragile legacy code for saving files for what for all intents and purposes are edge cases of people using Xsan/StorNext.
The only thing you can do that is surefire is work locally, and move files via the Finder and overwrite old saves.
