I purchased microsoft:mac 2 weeks ago. Working on a word doc.. drop down warning.."There is an unrecoverable disk error on file. The disk you are working on has a media problem that prevents Word from using it. Try the following: Try reformatting another disk/ Save the doc to another disc. I backed up my files. reformatted disc; had to reload micro for mac etc. I just opened my saved doc. made a few changes and the same msg has appeared...help

I too have this problem! I have a rMBP that is only about a month old. It seems to only do this when I am using the Notebook part of MS Word. But now today after the message it locke up completely and required a restart - I lost everything new that had been added that hour. Any suggestions? The file is on

the local SSD drive. It has done this with almost every Workbook that has audio recorded. No other files have caused the problem.
