The folder you reference "iPod Photo Cache" is empty because I put music and only music on my iPod. Thinking perhaps deleting the folder anyway would solve the problem I tried it.

This solution is not a solution at all. Please come up with a way to solve this problem. I began having all sorts of problems once I allowed iTunes to update to 10.7.0.21 and have wasted 3 days trying to fix this.

I have always had faith that the updates from Apple would cause no harm to my computer and devices. After this experience you can be sure that I will not allow autpomate updates and will closer watch oter user reactions and reviews of Apple updates.

This is a solution for many users who experience those symptoms. Would you be kind enough to confirm the precise error message or other symptoms you see, and when in they sync cycle they occur?

Note we are all fellow users here. We offer potential solutions based on our experience and the often limited input of the original poster. Sometimes more information needs to flow back and forth before the problem can be fully understood and a solution arrived at.
