Q: Start-up issue! Help!

On start-up, I get the welcome chime, then 2 beeps, followed by a continuous series of 3 beeps. Fails to start up! I push the power button and the process begins again. Please advise! Thanks!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.6)

Very close! I hear 2 tones, followed by 3,3,3 etc. I'm not sure if there is a 5 second delay between tones, but there is a gap, but it doesn't seem like 5 seconds. Can you advise me as to how to access the RAM sticks? That is something I've done before, but never on this machine! Thanks!

Just installed 2 new sticks and she booted right up! Thanks!!
Also, both sticks were bad.
