Why is iphoto not syncing with mail and facebook?

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on eight different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary from version to version and OS to OS. So before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Things like:

- What version of iPhoto.

- What version of the Operating System.

- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?

- Did it ever work properly?

- Are there error messages?

- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.

Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.

I have Mac OS X 10.6.8

Iphoto 8.1.2 0'9

I had some other windows open but nothing out of ordinary.

It had always worked for me to upload pictures to Facebook

The window to sign in after saying I need to set up with Facebook is blank. When I close the blank window it says "a server with the specified host name could not be found."

Do I have to upgrade to the new Iphoto?
