I agree with Master BDAqua -

ESPECIALLY if you had to reset you login password on the system, your keychain HAS TO BE reset to default: open spotlight > keychain access > select keychain access from the application menu at the top > select preferences > select the General tab > select Reset My Default Keychain.

Not so. The keychain password can differ from the login password. Keeping them same does make life easier.
