You can copy the apps from the iPad to your Mac's iTunes by connecting the iPad to your Mac and in your Mac's iTunes doing File > Transfer Purchases - you can then take a backup copy of your apps, but you won't be able to use the apps on your Mac (they are different operating systems).
Thanks,
Does this mean I have to buy another programm like key note, pages and numbers to use on my MacAir?
I thought they were meant to be used on all devises from apple.
What would you recommend for Mac as text program compatible with words on my work PC?
Thanks again
Peter
Any apps that you have on your iPad (iOS) won't work on a Mac (OS X) - they are different operating systems.
For word processing you could get Pages from the Mac (not iTunes) App Store, or there are some free office programs such as from Open Office (http://www.openoffice.org) - I don't do a great deal of word processing or spreadsheet work, but it does everything that I need to do. As it's free you could give it a try.

If you use MS Office at work, you can get MS Office for OS X for your personal MBA as well. While open office or some of the other free suites may do all you need, there are some things about office that are best done with office (depends on how complex your documents get, and whether you have to share documents around with editing features and so on). So you can try the free options first, but if you need Office, you can purchase it for OS X.
