I just made an imovie and created a DVD from idvd..everything turned out perfectly except the second to last two songs.....the audio cuts out by the video continues. Any ideas as to what could be wrong??? The songs are from itunes and I have video footage and picture stills in the problem area as well. The playback in imovie is perfect. PLEASE HELP!!

Have you played the iMovie with QT Player outside of iDVD and outside of iMovie (i.e. export as a QT Movie and play) to see if the problem occurs or not? If it does then it's not an iDVD issue but iMovie issue.

Ok, I shared the movie to Quick Time and it played back perfectly.....so I guess it is an idvd problem....any ideas? Should I take this Quick Time version to idvd or won't that make a difference?? Thanks!
Try creatint a new project in iDVD and drag the QT movie into the menu being careful to avoid any drop zones. Then follow this workflow to help ensure the best quality final product:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding was good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
Audio in idvd stops playing in the middle of the second to last songs.
