Q: There is no none option for new or old accounts?!

I'm 16 and I don't even have a credit card. But when I got my first ipod my mom helped set it up and she used her credit card because there was no none option. But now she got a new card and I keep typing in the CORRECT info but it keeps saying the security code doesn't match the bank records. I see people talking about a none option so I even tried making a new account and there is no none option. I need help asap. New accounts DO NOT work so don't try telling me it does. I tried 3 times already :/ I just want to update my things and get new apps but I can't because of the credit card option. PLEASE PLEASE HELP! (:

    Take a look here:

    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646

If that doesn't help, go here:

    http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

New accounts for free apps do work, by the way, but you have to create a new Apple ID - you cannot use an existing one - and there's a very specific procedure you have to follow.

How did you create the new account ? I was able to set up a new account with 'none' as the payment option a few hours ago - I selected a free app in the iTunes app store and created a new account when 'buying' it.

Creating an account without a credit card : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534

But all content is tied to the account that originally bought/downloaded it, so any apps that you already have will be tied to the account that you currently use - so only that account can download updates to its app or re-download its purchases.

In terms of the security code message, then is the address on the iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your mother's credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :

If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.

And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
