How Do I... in Mac Preview OSX

Ok, so I want to edit this photo because it is too big. So I took it to Mac's Preview Application and edited some blank, unwanted bits out. Now my photo has holes in it and I want to bring the remaining parts of the photo together to make it whole again. (I have done this before but I can't remember HOW!)

HOW DO I DO THIS???
