how much vram is in the intel hd 4000

if you're buying the base 13 Inch Macbook Pro with 4GB of RAM - then your VRAM is at 384MB.

when you upgragde the RAM to 8GB or 16GB your VRAM goes up to 512MB...

to be honest - not really. because your built-in intel graphics must rely on your processor.....

don't get me wrong - your games will work fine with the 13 Inch Macbook - try to play it in low res and try high res to see if you can see any major difference.....

512MB is the max regardless if you install 8GB or 16GB.........go with 8GB if you think that's all you'll need.....it will increase your VRAM to 512MB..

I don't believe that's your real serial number - and I didn't know that about the Intel graphics card - just looked at mine and, sure enough, 512MB of 'VRAM'.

I had figured out the "not leaving the forum" part ... I just wanted to see *his* response. But some "busybody" got it first ... 😝

Bimmer knows all of my secrets (but then I know quite a few of his...).

After six years and three months I'm finally moving out of this nursing home. I have a handicapped accessible apartment of my own. Everything will be in place (except my desk - which is where I was going to put my new ATD - but it will just have to wait to come out of the box).

Starting out anew I had virtually nothing - no spoons, coffee cups, etc. Some kind souls bought stuff for me and I ordered the rest online (thank God for Amazon!).

But I'll have cable/Internet/phone service through Bright House so I will continue to haunt these forums - and at a much faster speed than now!

I'm very excited, as you can imagine...
