Since upgrading to OSx8.0 my calendar no longer synchs with my iPod Touch

Question

I can't update the calendar on my Touch (2d gen) from my iMac but all other programs synch normally. How can I restore that function?

Recently upgraded iMac to OS X.8.2 and now can't synch Calendar. Contacts and iPhoto do synch. iPod Touch running OS 4.2.1. Help!

If I recall there is not way to do that with Mountain Lion without iCloud. The 2G does not support iCloud.
