Aug 29, 2012 5:11 PM in response to Klaus1by Chris Pugh,ok guys so i did migration assistant today.. all seemed well until i went into iphoto. theres nearly 5k photos missing. my old computer somehow still has every photo on it and the original photos . so im kinda panicking on what to do. lost loads on itunes as well but i can reinstall the music i suppose. the photos are priceless and i dont wanna lose them, i assume if i do a fresh migration ill lose all the docs on the new imac since they have vanished from my old powermac.. so any ideas how i can get the photos and tags over to my new imac please. i tried drgging and ropping them to a external drive but for some reason it didnt want to know. so im gonna try a firewire cable and target disk mode!! iS that advisable ..please any help appreciated
