Q: Apple tv will not turn on

My apple tv gen 1 does not turn on. I have unplugged it for 30+ seconds and replaced the remote battery and no change. Normally the unit is warm to the touch but now it is not. Are there any other steps I can take?

Apple TV, Windows 7, Unplugged power for 30 seconds

Welcome to the Apple Community.

You could check the fuse and that the power cord is all the way in, but it doesn't sound too hopeful.

Thank you. I tried several working outlets in the house. The apple tv does not turn on. Looks
Ike generation 1 has seen it's day!
