Q: I stuffed up my Wifi IP address and ethernet IP address, due to which my Network preference option not responding from last 3 days. Even my internet is not working as I cannot edit the network preferences in system preference option?

I stuffed up my Wifi IP address and ethernet IP address, due to which my Network preference option not responding from last 3 days. Even my internet is not working as I cannot edit the network preferences in system preference option?

 

When I go to Network Diagonstics through Safari, It shows me as all the network options failed.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

    "Stuffed up" is not really a term we use much in networking. What did you actually do? Using what software? How are you connected to your local network, and how is that connected to the internet?

     

    What happens if you use the Apple menu to access System Preferences/Network?
