When I installed the update to 10.8.1 there comes a message that there was a problem by installing.
Now i can not connect to a wifi network, when i click on the wifi at the bottom

To use 10.8, you must restore a backup created in that. To restore, press Command and R keys in boot and restore it
but haven't got a backup of 10.8
You have to install Lion unless you have the Mountain Lion 10.8 installer. If it doesn't work, take it to an Apple Store

On Lion all was fine, I can't understand it
Have you tried downloading ML again from the App Store and installing it ? If you saw an install error, that is probably what messed up your system. You should re-install again to be safe.
I have MacBook unibody late 2008 with OS X Mountain Lion on board. Wifi stopped working suddenly and I spent about four terrible hours to solve a problem.
Actually, none of mentioned and googled advices helped me out to solve this issue with 'WiFi: No Hardware installed'.
Except one thing: using the wifi kext from the Snow Leopard. You may use utility and kext from here: http://rys.sommefeldt.com/2011/09/04/osx-lion-wifi.html

I make a clean 10.8 Installation in a Second partition. Then my MacBook only can't connect to the wifi Network. So I go to my Router setup and I Updated the Software of it.
