Hi Easter Island. Thanks for the tip. We have worked through this and it seems to be still having trouble recognising.

When I connect my iphone 3 it also has problems. I am wondering now if it is because our original itunes account is Australian and the computer here is Irish??? If so, how can we connect to different accounts that are based in different countries?

Still running the diagnostics. Will let you know how I go.

Question to Illaass - the itunes account we are accessing in Ireland is our Irish cousin's. We purchased some songs with an Irish itunes gift card using their account. They all downloaded to the account no problems. We can still download these to our ipod can't we, especially if the country has no effect on seeing the ipod?
