Since upgrading to mountain lion, I cannot send e-mail.  I've been on the phone several times with an Apple tech and each time after he resets different things it may work for a few hours or a day or two and then stop working. He and I both are frustrated. I get mail just fine and I can send mail from my IPAD. He says no one else has called him with this problem.


Do you have any clues?

    Did you resolve this issue? I finally upgraded my iMac to Mountain Lion and it has stopped connecting to my own website & email (same domain) via safari/mail respectively.


    Yet, connecting to both on my MacBook Air on the same network is fine. Also running 10.8.4.
