ipod wont connect to itunes, i tried all the steps and nothing works

ive tried all the apple help tips and stuff on this website but my ipod wont connect with itunes anymore.

it said i had to restore my ipod and then it just doesnt show up. it shows up in my computer when i plug it in. and it shows up on my brothers computer but not mine.

i would appreciate help, if i cant fix it this is the last apple product i ever purchase.

Do you have any other USB devices connected to your PC when you plug in your Nano? If so, remove them all (minus the keyboard and mouse if applicable) and reboot your PC. Then plug your Nano in again to a USB port located directly on the PC and see if it is properly recognized and able to be restored. There maybe a device driver conflict somewhere or the USB bus is overloaded trying to handle too many devices.


What does it show up in Device Manager as?
