Did you buy Logic 9 in the Mac App Store? Then you only bought Logic Pro (for $199). Compressor is another $49 and MainStage $29 in the Mac App Store.

If you installed via the old Logic Studio DVD set, MainStage should have been installed in your Applications folder.

Thank you for your response to my query. I purchased the full version from an apple store $499. Where should it be showing up?
