why does iTunes match keep stalling at the "Matching your music at the Itunes Store?

I'm starting to think it's down to the latest iTunes update 11.2.2 from 28th May. It was definitely okay before then. I can't be sure if the problem started then.

You may find (my experience is this atleast) that you can add songs to iTunes match that /match/, just not ones that need uploading.

I'm having trouble matching songs too. Tried to upload 3 CD's over the last week but stalls out with the error 3231. Tried uninstalling, switching on, switching off, moving things, putting them back. Slowing upload speeds, nothing is doing the trick. So frustrated right now and Apples status page is saying nothing is wrong. Seriously looking at the competitors like Amazon Music and Google Play as options.
