How do I take a screenshot of iPad iBook pages?
We need multiple images for promotion of an iBook novel. Holding down the power button does not seem to help, unles we're doing something wrong.
iPad 2
Press and hold the Power button, and press the Home button, release both simultaneously. You will hear a camera shutter sound. The image will be stored in the Photo app.
To take a screenshot you need to briefly press both the home and power button at the same time - the screen should then appear to flash and a picture of it saved to the Camera Roll album
Where is the "Home" button in an iBook page? When I'm on the page I want to take a screenshot of, I push the Power button, and hold, and nothing happens.
The home button is the big round button at the bottom of the front of the iOS device
The Home button is a physical button, the only one on the face of the iPad.
So this comment doesn't seem to make sense: "press both the home and power button."
I've tried pushing the Power button quickly, briefly, twice, holding it a long time... Nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?

Can you take screen shots when using other apps?
No. By the way, I have syst 5.1.1
You need to press BOTH the home button and the power button at the same time to take a screen shot.
