    Hi,

Usually, this happen when you have an unsupported video fomat.  See in TV Video format section what is supported; http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/specs.html and verify by doing a "Get Info" on the video that doesn't sync.

Depending of the format of the video, iTunes or QuickTime may be used to convert your video.

Thanks for the help. Here's the work around that worked. All the videos showed in my itunes video library and were.mp4 yet would not sync. so i highlighted them and did a right click copy. then in my iphone4 i went into the video library and did Edit>paste and they all downloaded and work fine. if you right click paste it doesnt work. Also it only worked on the iphone not on the itouch.

    Hi,

The term you use are not correct for a commun understanding.  When you refer to the video library of your iPhone, I think you are refering the iTunes device section from the left side menu.  When you click on your device, you then have many tabs showing up for setting up the sync parameter for your device.

The video section there is to define which video will actually be synced to the device.  These setting are specific for each device.  It's more like a playlist listing what will be synced than actually a place your you can cut/paste.  Instead, you can simply check the video you want to be synced, select all or any other automatic option.  So just repeat what you've for your iPod Touch (iTouch doesn't exist ).

Beside, it's not because a video is MP4 that it will necessarely respect the limitation of your iOS device.  For exemple, 1080P MP4 will not be supported by your iPod Touch but will be if you have the latest iPad with retina display.  So, you need to dig a little bit further by looking at the content of the MP4 vs the specification of your iOS device as I sent previously.
