Replaced the Digitizer on my iPod 3 g and it still does not work any ideas?

So I had to replace the power and volume flex cable, the LCD screen and the Digitizer on my iPod 3rd Gen 8 gig and all works but the Digitizer. Does anyone have any ideas on why this might be. There is nothing visibly noticable that is wrong with it. It did not work before I replaced it and now it still does not work after replacing it. So annoying because now that my power button is working again and my screen is not cracked with funny colors and cannot get it to do anything, I cannot put in my pin to restore the iPod, and cannot even slide the screen. Any help with be greatly apprecieated. Please and Thank you.

You may not have something connected right when you put it back together or your logic load could be bad.

Good luck. You're getting an education. If you get it running, you can go in business repairing them! ;-)
