it is necesary a virus protection for osx?

First of all I apologize for my bad English.
My question is whether you need to install an antivirus on my MacBook Pro and my Mac Mini with OSX Lion Montain.
If the answer is yes, what antirivus you recommend?.
Thanks for your time.

You mustn't install it.

That is an opinion, and should not be taken as fact. Certain anti-virus programs definitely should not be installed, but some (such as ClamXav and Sophos) are well-behaved and should not cause any problems. It is my opinion that you don't need to install anti-virus software. If you do choose to install anti-virus software, it needs to be as no more than a backup "safety net" within a broader security strategy, since no anti-virus software can protect you against everything, especially brand-new threats.
