My hard drive failed and I lost my 09 iWork programs.
I can't find my install DVD, but I do have the serial numbers. How do I get my programs back without having to buy again?

iWork '09 installed from the retail DVD does not have or require a serial number. Only a license purchased from within the downloaded trial requires a serial number & it is only one serial number for the entire suite. Please post back with details on how you got iWork '09 in the first place & we can go from there.
Robert,
If your install DVD is gone and your HD failed and you have no backup, you're goose is cooked, as they say.
The good news is that the apps are cheap in the Mac App Store and you won't have to ever worry again about losing them. They should be available at the Mac App Store for a good long time for download should you need to do that again. Even so, I'd suggest a bootable backup on an external drive be really sure about recovery.

I must have purchased it from the trial download, which would explain why I don't have the install DVD. Am I stuck with buying it again? I did buy Keynote again because I use it for work constantly, but I miss Pages.
Robert.
If you save Mail someplace other than on the failed HD, check and see if you still have the order confirmation with the activation code.
Jerry
Thank you!
