iTunes not letting me download new version

Why not? What happens when you try downloading the new version?

Did you ever figure this out? I am unable to get my iPad recognized by iTunes because iTunes on my pc (ver. 10.7) gives me an error that I must have version 10.6.3 or higher to connect. But how do I download a higher version on my iPad.

You do not download a higher version on the iPad, maybe that was not what you intended. iTunes is on the computer, update it there.

If you are having issues, search for the specific error or post it.
