How can I delete Facebook app

Press and hold any of the apps on the homescreen and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want (you can't delete built-in apps), and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

Go to the home page or folder where the app is located. Tap and hold it until the apps start to wiggle. Tap the X on the Facebook app.

Thanks. It worked on iphone too.

I tried updating 20 apps at once on my iPad.. the Facebook app is stuck on "waiting" and is darker in color.

It will not show me the little "x" when I press an hold the app.

I deleted the Facebook app from iTunes on my iMac and my iPod but still cannot get it off my iPad.

I tried several suggestions but nothing works yet.

Any suggestions.? Be much appreciated..Thank you.

If it says waiting then have you tried tapping it to see if it then resumes loading and/or tried a soft-reset to see if that gets it to finish loading and installing so that you can then delete it ? Or when connected to your computer's iTunes are you able to use its Apps tab to delete it from your iPad ?

I delete FaceBook and when I try to re-add it, it brings up my old accounts. I can't find where to delete them...Help!!!!

Settings App > FaceBook > [account] > Delete Account, then add the account you wish to use.
