Q: 1080p Digital copy of the Avengers with the Triple Play edition?

Is it possible to download the 1080p Digital copy of the Avengers with the Triple Play edition (Blu-Ray 3D + Blu-Ray + Digital Copy)?

The Edition that downloads automatically is only 480p.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.1)

I put this very question into Apple because it makes no sense why a digital download out of a blu-ray disc would be 480p.

The third-generation iPad is. But from reading several forums on the issue, it seems confirmed that the digital copy for The Avengers is SD, not HD.

Whenever a movie comes with a digital copy iTunes only allows the SD version. The HD version is not offered.
