Sep 15, 2012 12:24 AM in response to Demoby chkur6,Changing the time and date to the future worked for me, but with a caveat. I found I had to set the date a few years in the future, try to update again (which gave a message about checking the date and time), the reset the time to automatic. After that it worked.
Only changing the time an hour ahead did not work.

Sep 15, 2012 8:42 AM in response to James.edwardsby 2kidzandapoodle,It worked. Just curious why it happened? My son had 64 apps that needed updating....too much and got jammed?

Sep 16, 2012 9:56 AM in response to James.edwardsby m.strick,Setting the date in the future worked BUT ONLY AFTER I killed the App Store App. I tried just slightly in the future (few minutes) and one whole day. Neither worked until I kill the App Store App and restarted. It is possible that just restarting the app could have worked.
I had 40+ apps that needed updating so it probably is not about the quantity.

Sep 18, 2012 8:44 PM in response to James.edwardsby bitNine,So stupid. Had this happen on an iPad 1 that I hadn't used in a couple months. Changed the time and it made no difference. Changed the date to 2015 and went back into the app store and it gave me a connection error saying to check date and time. Went back to settings and turned on auto date time and it fixed the problem. ***?

Sep 20, 2012 9:34 AM in response to James.edwardsby BloDroBro,Took a few tries but I managed to get it to work. Just some notes on how I got it to work.
1) Set the date at least 5 years ahead.
2) Make sure to kill the app completely (double click home button) after changing the date, it appears cache data stops the fix.
3) Make sure you get the error message to check date and time setting, if this doesn't come up it won't work.

Nov 8, 2013 4:53 PM in response to Demoby Lovemycar22,After checking my settings date, I chose a free app and now it will not do the free app till I enter my purchase info. I have a $24.67 credit on my account. I used a iTunes card because I do not wish to use my credit card info.
