Hello, I have Os X Lion 10.7.4 - I have downloaded QTP7. I have entered all informations ... but when I press the Tab Key, there is no change.

Press Enter after typing in the serial number, not tab.

Everything in the email confirmation of your purchase must be typed in exactly as shown. Registered to:, Organization: (leave blank if there's nothing in the email), and Registration Code:.
You can copy/paste them in to avoid typing errors.

Pardon my pun after spending an nearly two hours doing the same thing.
I've to type one LETTER at a time and TAB. Then quit Quicktime and open it worked!!!
NO instructions provided for 10.8.2 only the old version OS X v10.6 and OS X v10.5 came with email inctructions.
It is not hard to upgrade email instructions, Apple, are you listening after shelling Eur30 and we deserve a proper instructions...what is all the secret for???
