iCloud - false warning about running out of space

Some time ago I received warning that my basic 5GB iCloud storage is almost full. This appeared on my iPhone4. It haunted me whole day while driving my car so I gave in and purchased extra 10GB storage space after all. But I never checked any details on what and how much is stored there.

Yesterday the same thing repeated. When I checked my iCloud details I could see that 12,7GB of storage is free! It bothers me for no reason, actually it seems that 10GB purchase was not needed at all.

Am I missing something? Or is it some strange bug?

I see this an old thread, but has anyone had any resolution to this? Yesterday, I had 19 KB of 5 GB available. I got tired of the warnings and saw how reasonable the extra storage was. So I upgraded. Two seconds later I had 44.24 GB available out of 50 GB. Yay!

Then I got the iCloud full warning again. And again. And again.

The MacBook Pro has been rebooted since then. The iPad and iPhone have not. And the only thing I can think of is that one of those two doesn't know about the upgrade yet and it somehow pushing the warning to me on the MacBook Pro???

I guess I will try to reboot those two as well and see if it makes a difference. Otherwise, does anybody have any ideas on this?
