Why can't I copy URL's from my Safari browser and paste it in an email?
Recently I have noticed that I cannot copy URL's from Safari and paste them in an email anymore. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

What happens when you try?
You can drag the URL from the address bar & drop it on the Mail icon...what happens when you do that?
Click the icon (favicon) to the left of the URL.
That will select the entire URL.
Command C will copy the URL.
Command V will paste.
Thank you all for such speedy replies. I'm not sure what was happening...but I did the most basic of things....I rebooted. And now it seems to be working fine. But very strange. I couldn't copy using my mac keyboard...or directly from the MacBook Pro. But it seems to be working now. THANKS!
After you do a search in the address box, your search stays up there replacing the URL of the page you landed on.
You have to click on a link on the page then hit the back button and the URL will replace your search string.
It's super annoying.
URL in the address box or in a link in the body of a page? For the latter right-click and select Copy Link.
I'm not having any problems - just tried it an it worked fine. What sort of problems are you having? Have you updated to version 6 yet? http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/15675/apple-safari
