Microsoft Office 2011 problems

Have you checked with the MicroSoft site for updates to your Office '11 software? There have been some users with error reports who did an update and cleared the problems.

You are running the latest version of Word. The latest version of AutoUpdate is 2.35.

Also, here is a EXC_BAD_ACCESS example from an older version of Word, and a series of counter-measures. Some of the thoughts in this article suggest a corrupted Normal.dot file, or incompatible plug-in for Word. Start Word or Excel with the Shift key depressed.

I have the same problem. But, is updating the absolute answer? Feedback?

Try holding the SHIFT key down before you launch the app 🙂
