Im a little bit confused with the settings in Final Cut Pro 7....
I use a Sony HVR-Z1 and record in HDV, what setting should i have final cut in to get the best possible quality from my recordings?

If you choose the HDV 1080i60 Easy Setup, you will capture from the tape losslessly. Pure digital transfer. This will make the sequence settings you need too.
