My brothers phone isn't ringing, when I ring it I get a ringing tone, however on his phone it stays completely normal no noise the phone doesn't even display that I am ringing him he can't receive texts either?

It's not on silent it just doesn't ring at all or display that someone is ringing
How long has it not been rining for ? Do you get text messages sounds ? email sounds ? does music play ?
2-3 days nope nothing
If nothing is working I would restore the device as new and see if it is software..

if that does not work I would go into the Apple Store or call Apple and see if you can replace your phone if it is in warranty..
I was thinking that but will it delete his contacts as j can't back them up at the minute?
