Then click on More Info>Hardware and report this upto but not including the Serial#...

Aug 31, 2012 1:58 PM in response to HUGHRPby WZZZ,If it only started running this slowly recently, even with so little RAM, you should check the health of the drive, since it may be failing. And make sure you have a complete reliable backkup.
Run the Hardware Test in Extended from disc 2, I believe -- or see if there's a disc that says Hardware Test. Insert the disc and start up holding down the D key. Disconnect all external devices except for the keyboard and mouse.
Open Disk Utility in Utilities and select the drive, the topmost listing. Does it say SMART Status "Verified?"
Are you really still running 10.4.1?
