How do I delete the podcasts App and go back to using videos app?

After deleteing the new Apple Podcasts App, I have restarted my iPhone 4, re-synced numerous times and I see podcasts syncing, but I can't get them to appear in the videos app. I also can't get podcasts to appear in the music app either.

Lets face it, the podcast app *****, and I want to go back to the regular videos App, but it seems like my phone won't let me.

How can I fix this?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1

I had the same problem. The Podcast app *****. So I deleted it and wth that went away all the podcasts.

The solution is:

1. Eject and reconnect the iPhone. Ejecting from iTunes is recommended.

2. In iTunes, uncheck "Sync Podcast" and then sync the phone.

3. Perform step 1 again

4. Now check "Sync Podcasts" and sync the phone and you should have your podcasts in the Music app.
